Stablecoin Depeg Radar

Monitor whether major USD stablecoins are trading close to their intended one-dollar peg.

What this means

A small market deviation can be normal. Larger or persistent deviations may reflect liquidity, redemption or market-confidence stress.

Practical use

  • Check peg health before moving between stablecoins.
  • Distinguish a routine spread from a material deviation.
  • Verify the timestamp before relying on a displayed price.

How it is calculated

USDT, USDC and DAI prices are requested together from CoinGecko, cached, and evaluated by absolute distance from one US dollar.

A stale label means the last successful value is being shown. Unavailable values are never replaced with zero.

Questions

What counts as a depeg?

This site labels progressively larger deviations for attention; it does not claim that every small move is a failure.

Can exchange prices differ?

Yes. Venue liquidity and spreads can produce different short-term prices.

Is a healthy label a guarantee?

No. It describes the cached market price at the displayed time.
